The Bestmax Premium uses the five-layer filtering process: -Particle pre-filter - separation of coarse particles such as sand and rust. -Activated carbon pre-filter - elimination of oxidants, protects the ion exchanger from ageing. -High-performance ion exchanger - removal of hardeners, adjustment of the mineral image. -Activated carbon fleece - Elimination of organic matter, chlorine, foreign odours and foreign taste. -Particulate fine filter - separation of fine particles and suspended matter The filter head can be adjusted to one of several mixing settings depending on the hardness of the water. The mixing settings adjust the amount of water by ion exchange in ratios 0/100, 10/90, 25/75 and 40/60. When replacing the filter cartridges, the filter head reduces the water flow to prevent leakage. The BWT filter heads are equipped with two 3/8 inch BSP connections (3/8 inch male) threads. For plumbing installations in NPT water pipes, you need to buy the matching reducer fitting for your domestic water pipe.
