Unior crank saver kit is an all-in-one solution for repairing damaged pedal threads. Our exclusive reaming taps, when combined with our extra Stout and extra long tap handle, machines away the damaged pedal threads and cuts new threads to receive our pedal thread inserts. These inserts are solid metal, not wire like some other thread repair kits, and when installed with a thread locker become even stronger than the factory pedal threads. The kit includes 10 inserts for left cranks and 10 inserts for right, all stored neatly with the tools in a sturdy steel case.
